A CLI tool that colorizes grayscale photos using pre-trained ECCV16 and SIGGRAPH17 convolutional models, displaying results side by side.

Colorizing black-and-white photography is a classic computer vision restoration problem. This tool wraps two established pre-trained CNN colorization models — ECCV 2016 and SIGGRAPH 2017 — behind a simple command-line interface.
Given an input image, the script converts it to grayscale, runs it through both pre-trained models, and displays the original, grayscale, and colorized versions side by side for comparison. Each model's output is saved separately as a PNG, making it easy to evaluate colorization quality across approaches.
